VISA LETTER POLICY
Policy: Issuance of Visa Letters for DCAT-Hosted Programs
The Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association (DCAT) may issue formal visa invitation letters to eligible representatives of Member Companies upon request to support attendance at official DCAT-hosted programs, including international conferences, summits, and business development events.
Eligibility:
- The individual requesting a visa letter must be an employee of a registered DCAT Member Company in good standing. If the event occurs in a future DCAT fiscal year, the member must renew and pay their membership dues for the next year.
- The request must pertain to a specific DCAT-hosted program for which the representative is registered or officially confirmed to attend.
- The individual must attest that they have read and agree to comply with DCAT’s Code of Conduct.
Request:
- Requests for visa letters must be submitted in writing to the DCAT office via the designated online form at least four (4) weeks before the scheduled program.
Limitations:
- Will reflect the official dates of the DCAT-hosted program only, not the individual’s travel dates.
- Must not be altered in any way after issuance.
- Will be addressed to the appropriate embassy or consulate, unless otherwise requested.
- DCAT will not issue visa letters for family members, guests, or individuals unaffiliated with a DCAT Member Company.
- The issuance of a visa letter does not imply sponsorship, financial responsibility, or guarantee of visa approval.
- DCAT reserves the right to decline any request that does not meet the stated criteria or is inconsistent with the program’s intent.
