VISA LETTER POLICY

Policy: Issuance of Visa Letters for DCAT-Hosted Programs

The Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association (DCAT) may issue formal visa invitation letters to eligible representatives of Member Companies upon request to support attendance at official DCAT-hosted programs, including international conferences, summits, and business development events.

Eligibility:

  • The individual requesting a visa letter must be an employee of a registered DCAT Member Company in good standing. If the event occurs in a future DCAT fiscal year, the member must renew and pay their membership dues for the next year.
  • The request must pertain to a specific DCAT-hosted program for which the representative is registered or officially confirmed to attend.
  • The individual must attest that they have read and agree to comply with DCAT’s Code of Conduct.

Request:

  • Requests for visa letters must be submitted in writing to the DCAT office via the designated online form at least four (4) weeks before the scheduled program.

Limitations:

  • Will reflect the official dates of the DCAT-hosted program only, not the individual’s travel dates.
  • Must not be altered in any way after issuance.
  • Will be addressed to the appropriate embassy or consulate, unless otherwise requested.
  • DCAT will not issue visa letters for family members, guests, or individuals unaffiliated with a DCAT Member Company.
  • The issuance of a visa letter does not imply sponsorship, financial responsibility, or guarantee of visa approval.
  • DCAT reserves the right to decline any request that does not meet the stated criteria or is inconsistent with the program’s intent.
