Subramanya Nayak, Ph.D, MBA, is the Director of CMC Supply Chain and Program Strategy at AbbVie, where he manages and supports the company’s R&D CRO/CDMO network and oversees budgetary responsibilities. Collaborating with CROs/CDMOs, he ensures efficient and high-quality process and product development, meeting quality and regulatory requirements. He has successfully represented the CMC technical team by aligning various groups for accelerated regulatory filings. 

Dr. Nayak’s contributions have impacted the pharmaceutical industry, leading to the successful development and commercialization of three drugs. His work is well-recognized, having been published in 16 peer-reviewed scientific journals, presented at over 25 international conferences, and resulted in two patent filings. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Illinois. He is also a member of the DCAT Research & Benchmarking Committee.
