Steve Kirk is Global Chief of Procurement, Catalent Pharma Solutions, where he is responsible for the Global Procurement team across the Biologics and Pharma and Consumer Health segments spanning over 50 sites in North and South America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. He is leading the Catalent Global Procurement team to deliver its financial, supplier relationship, risk-management, and supplier ESG (environmental, social, and governance) objectives. 

He is responsible for Procurement across Catalent globally, with responsibility for the Global Category and Segment Procurement teams and the related policies, processes, and systems. Catalent’s ability to manage effectively its multi-billion dollar external spend and suppliers play a critical role in the company’s performance to support customers and the patient-first priority. 

Prior to joining Catalent in 2020, Steve held roles at the Global Chief Procurement Officer and Procurement Director level for 15 years. Overall, Steve has 26 years of Procurement experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, utilities/nuclear, consumer goods, financial services, and automotive industries, working for global multinationals such as Novartis, IQVIA, IBM, and Jaguar Land Rover. He has held various roles in consulting and is skilled in Procurement Transformation, Global Sourcing, Business Process Improvement, and Cross-functional Team Leadership. He has attained a Six Sigma Black Belt while at Ford Motor Co. and a BSc in materials engineering and business studies from Loughborough University, UK.
