Arda Ural, PhD, is the EY Americas Health Sciences and Wellness Industry Markets Leader, Ernst & Young (EY). In this role, he is in service to EY’s life–sciences and healthcare professionals in North and South America, helping them to solve clients’ most pressing issues at the C-suite level by building a sector community and upholding the principles of One EY. Arda also serves as the Market Segment Leader for the US–East Region. He has been the US Sector Leader for EY’s Life Sciences Transactions Advisory Services, Strategy & Operations Practice, and Market Segment Leader for East Region Transactions Advisory. He has a proven track record in the pharma, biotech and med tech industry with almost 30 years of experience in general management, corporate strategy, marketing, new product development, and mergers & acquisitions, spin-offs, and divestitures. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and has over 50 publications concerning the life–sciences industry. Arda holds an MBA and a PhD in finance and strategy from Marmara University, Turkey, and a BSc and MSc in mechanical engineering and material science, Bogazici University, Turkey.
