Marcus Ehrhardt, PhD, is a Managing Director and Partner of Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he focuses on strategy-based (digital) transformations, performance improvement programs, and supply-chain management, advising executive teams in the pharmaceutical (innovative and generics), biotech, and medtech industries. With over 15 years of international experience (in the Americas, Europe, and Asia) as an advisor to executive teams, Dr. Ehrhardt is well-connected to the business, political, and academic communities. He is a speaker at conferences and the author of numerous articles, particularly on technology strategy and "all things digital.”

Dr. Ehrhardt received degrees in business administration (first an MBA followed by a PhD – summa cum laude) having studied at the Goethe University in Frankfurt and Stanford University.  He was awarded an ERP-Scholarship (German equivalent to Rhodes Scholarship) by the German Government and the German National Scholarship Foundation.

In 2006 Dr. Ehrhardt was recognized as a "Global Young Leader" by the Atlantik-Bruecke Association, a transatlantic network of leading American and German decision-makers from business, politics, defense, academia, media and culture.
