James K. Martin is the Chief Procurement Officer for Johnson & Johnson’s Pharmaceutical Group. In this role, he supports the growth and profitability of the pharmaceutical business worldwide by connecting the business with high-quality, innovative and efficient suppliers.

He joined J&J in 2015 as Vice President, Procurement for the Janssen Americas business. Previously, he led the Commercial Procurement team at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), supporting the consumer and pharmaceutical businesses. Prior to GSK, he held many roles in Schering-Plough’s Global Supply Chain Division. A past President of DCAT, he holds a BS in chemical engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from Northwestern University.
