A Message From our Board of Directors
As part of our strong commitment and service to our member companies, the Board of Directors of the Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association (DCAT) is pleased to announce plans for DCAT Week, the industry’s premier event for pharmaceutical development and manufacturing.
The Board of Directors, volunteer leaders, committee members, and staff want to express their sincere appreciation to our member companies for their cooperation and continued support during these past few months and look forward to serving our member companies in 2021 and beyond.
We look forward to welcoming you to DCAT Week next year:
July 12, 2021 – July 15, 2021
Although we understand that many variables still exist during this ongoing pandemic, we want to afford our member companies the possibility of meeting, in small groups, within their own business meeting spaces, for the DCAT Week event next July. Whether or not any other gatherings will be held during the week, such as education programs or networking events, will not be determined at this time. We will be providing updates via emails to our member companies with information to help you plan for your important business meetings. Information will also be available on the DCAT website at www.dcat.org.
The DCAT Annual Dinner
For the continued safety of our member companies and their guests, DCAT will not hold the DCAT Annual Dinner during DCAT Week in July 2021.
DCAT Safety Council
We are pleased to advise you that senior leadership at each Official DCAT Week Hotel, along with member company volunteers and DCAT staff, will work together to develop additional protocols, unique to DCAT Week activities to further ensure a safe environment for all participants.
DCAT Week 2022
At this time, the DCAT organization hopes to continue its regular DCAT Week schedule for DCAT Week 2022 beginning on March 21, 2022. However, this is subject to change based on global conditions and consideration for our member company representatives’ health and welfare. We fully understand that the global health situation may impede attendance or the manner in which our member companies participate at DCAT Week. However, we realize that it is important for our members to come together with customers, suppliers, and others to continue to work for and serve the industry that is so vital to the health and well-being of the world.
We are very proud of the industry and our member companies, who are diligently working to rid the world of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Thank you!
